To the populace of Blackspire and beyond,
An unfortunate circumstance occurred some time ago where the individual who has ownership over the Blackspire Discord server suddenly and without warning quit Amtgard. All efforts to reach this person and have them turn over control of the Discord server have been left unanswered.
As such, the kingdom Webminister and the Director of Records Management (DRM) have been authorized by the board of directors to clone our current server so we can migrate over to a kingdom controlled server. The migration will happen starting immediately following this announcement and this server is no longer considered the official Blackspire Discord server.
Here is the expected timeline for the migration:
Over the next 3 days: The populace will use the link below to join the new server and the Webminister and DRM will start to lock down channels in the old server so no new comments can be made, and read access on channels will start to be restricted. They will also make semi-frequent posts and pings as reminders of the migration.
July 31, 2026: All access and visibility will be restricted on the old server to the best of the Admin’s ability. Official Kingdom business, announcements, committees, and records-management activity will be operating through the new server. Everyone is encouraged to have left the old server by this point.
