PACWAR 2026: Robin Hood’s Rampage!

The Pacific Northwest’s favorite fall festival returns!
Pacwar is a three day Kingdom Level Event (KLE) and campout, complete with battle, arts, and entertainment of all kinds! Come join the heart of our community for fun, fellowship, and fighting to your heart’s content! Pacwar will include tournaments every day, numerous Arts and Sciences Ithras, two high-level art competitions (Dragonmaster and Elder Dragon) and Knightings each day!

Cabins
Ten cabins sleep eight people each. These come equipped with a heater, A/C, mini fridge, 4 bunk beds with mattresses, and 8 lockers for personal belongings (bring your own locks)
Tent Sites
Open tent camping is readily available! All flat spaces are available to pitch a tent, just stay out of the fighting fields and the driveway.
Bunkhouses
There are three riverfront bunkhouses available, two four person bunkhouses and one five person bunkhouse (these do not have power)

1pm - 6pm: Battlegame Block
Unscheduled, open to volunteer gamerunners! Check with Tiid Shadowglaive or Keriz Sheerheart to get approval to run a battlegame. Schedule will be updated.
2:30pm - 3:30pm: Early Bird Tournament
Run by Lord Tiid Shadowglave (Joshua Beardsley), War Chief
This will be a bear-pit style, single-bracket, Warrior-capped tournament.
What do I mean by that?
7 Warriors and under are allowed to participate
The bracket will be single short-sword only
We will have a 25 minute bear pit
Numbers of bear pits will be correlated to how many participants we have.
3:30pm - 4:30pm: Archery Tournament Qualifier

ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PERSON (YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ONE QUALIFIER. This is to keep it fair for everyone.)
(ALL ARCHERY TOURNAMENTS WILL BE FOAM ARROWS ONLY AND CAPPED AT LEGAL BOW MAXES PER RULES OF PLAY)
This will be an open bow tournament where contestants will take turns hitting static targets with a set number of 8 arrows. Each target will be worth a certain number of points. Points will be as follows:
1 point (medium shield)
3 points (small shield)
5 points (buckler)
10 points (bottle)
These points earned will be tallied up to determine who will participate in the final 8 fighting archery tournament on Saturday
4:30pm: Potion Bottle Ithra
Held by Callen (SG) in the Learning Center!
Ever wanted to feel like an alchemist? Join this potion crafting ithra to learn how to create your own fantasy inspired potions using simple materials and your own creativity. We’ll cover bottle selection, color, decorations, and finishing touches to create unique pieces that make perfect desk décor, shelf displays, or satisfying little fidgets to shake and admire. All materials will be provided including bottles, base solution, dyes, mica powder, blank labels, sealing wax, and more.
4:30pm: Potion Bottle Ithra

Held by Corbin (EG) in the Learning Center!
Come enjoy a beginner friendly knitting ithra with Corbin of Eternal Glades! This class is intended to provide an introduction to knitting and will cover casting on, the knit stitch, and binding off. Needles and yarn will be provided. No previous experience is necessary.

1:30pm - 2:30pm: Bunny Tea Party

Hear ye hear ye! Another bunny tea party is upon us! This tea party is birthday themed, for it is Overlord Thumper Cozyburrows Bunny Princess of Ironheade Hills' birthday! Tea, treats, and games will overflow upon our table and good times will be had. Huzzah!

3:30pm - 4:30pm: Cross-Stitching Ithra
Held by Wren Everknight (DF) in the Learning Center!
Come learn the basics of cross stitching. We will cover types of material to stitch on, types of hoops, types of patterns, and 5 stitches to get you started. Included in this class will be a kit to stitch the Blackspire heraldry. Those who attended this class last Pacwar, I will have a new design available for those wanting to collect the whole series. Come share your knowledge and what you've learned since last year!
4pm - 5:30pm: Morrigan Tournament
Run by Lord Tiid Shadowglave (Joshua Beardsley), War Chief
This will be a Double-Elimination, 7 and under tournament.
The reason I am capping this tournament is because we have a large number of wonderful newer fighters in our community, and I would like to give them an opportunity to shine. Our LGBTQ+/Non-men fighters who are above that 7-Warrior cap, I’m calling you to help reeve this tournament. I want LGBTQ+/Non-men reeves for this tournament (besides myself, who will be the only non LGBTQ+/Non-man reeve) to help me with uplifting these upcoming fighters.
There will be 3 brackets for this tournament.

Number of bear pits will be correlated to number of participants
There will be a round robin to determine the top 3.
4:30pm: MasquerTRADE Party
Held at the Pavillion!
Dawn your mask or costumes and join us for the first MasquerTrade Party at PacWar! This is a roleplay centered Crow Party. Where attendees are encouraged to use storytelling, character roleplay, and improv to entice others for your trinket trades! Turn your trinkets from silly lil guys to the most powerful enchanted items in the lands and haggle for even better trades. Or, just enjoy playing a silly role while you share with friends! Roleplay participation not required.

11am - 12pm: Battlegame, Quest, and Monster Ithra
Held by Wyell Voad (DF) in the Learning Center!
Going to teach a class on battlegame, quest and monster design. The fundamental building blocks I use to make them fun and interesting and how to design for small, medium and large groups. How to make quests designs for both combatants and non-combatants, and monsters of varying power levels as well as design philosophy behind them

This will be the big one. It will be a bear-pit style, old-fashioned rumble.
4 Brackets, all gas no breaks

- Mantis style open (whatever you want just hold it upside down)
Top three will do a single short round robin.
Top two will be leaders for our mock war, immediately following.
2pm - 7pm: Elder Dragon Gallery and Auction
Held in the Pavilion!
This is the grand premiere of the newest Arts and Sciences competition in Blackspire! Each master of the arts gets one ticket per mastery to show the depth of their craft. This will also be an optional silent auction, with base prices set by the creator- with half the proceeds going to the crafter, and the other half going to benefit our incredible scribes. All entries will be shown as part of the peer-voting tournament, where every attendee gets two votes to cast towards their favorite pieces- and the winner will be recognized as our first Elder Dragon!
3:30pm - 5:30pm: Merchant Row

4pm - 5pm: Drag Ithra
Held by Ruckus (SH) in the Learning Center!
Get your fierce on with this Drag persona creation ithra! Here you will develop a drag persona from a name, to make-up theory, intro songs and more! Learn the basics of color placement, wardrobe styling, and hair design for your very own dragsona. All needed supplies are provided.

We acknowledge that Camp Taloali is located on the traditional lands of the Santiam Kalapuya, a band of the Kalapuya people who have cared for this region for countless generations.
