This year, we're going to be trying something a little different at PacWar as far as the way we operate with alcohol. Some have heard rumors that there will be no drinking at PacWar -- this is false.
The new policy is simply new rules that help us promote a culture of drinking responsibility. The main changes that you will notice are that individuals can no longer transport open containers around the camp- this means that you should be finishing drinks where they are opened, or getting a new one and enjoying it socially at the Beer Garden before returning to the nights events.
This change has allowed us to directly purchase alcohol and distribute it, making life much easier for those operating the drunken dwarf. if these rules are broken, you will be gently reminded of the new policy and asked to return to where you began drinking- however if the rule breaking escalates beyond the norm or becomes egregious, it will be treated as an alcohol related incident- but none will have issues for small or routine mistakes. the goal here is to try something new and explore new possibilities while promoting safety, not harming anyone's fun or getting anyone in trouble.
