Hello Blackspire!
Roche here again this time to talk about our Class Guildmasters. For those of you who were there for the July Ballot, there were only about 6 out of 15 possible guildmaster votes on the ballot, this is because 8 classes didn't have anyone declare to be the guildmaster of that class. I mention this because I'd like to remedy that with the help of our king Opikunningham and our GMR Moss Wildflower. Due to the lack of candidates 8 guild master positions are currently open,
- AP
- Druid
- Monk
- Monster
- Paladin
- Peasant
- Warrior
- Wizard
In order to fill these positions we have the option to appoint intersted parties into them without a populace vote and instead just through the King doing so. So, if you are intersted in being a guildmaster for one of the classes above please ping myself or Opi in the Blackspire Discord General Chat! I'll be keeping an eye on it and be sending names to the King and he'll decide who to appoint from there!
Now, I'm sure some of you are wondering "Roche, why do we even need class guildmasters? What do they even do?" Well to briefly explain, our guildmasters are there to create a class test for you to earn bonus credits while expanding your game knowledge of each class, to be a resource regarding any questions about that class and finally something new, to buff members of thier class on the field. This last aspect is something new to my reign as Kingdom Champion, I with the help of our Guildmaster of Reeves, Moss, have created 14 custom abilities, one for each class guildmaster, designed around helping the members of a guildmasters guild, from charging abilities to sharing triggers there are so many different abilities each tailored to a class and thier identity in the game. These abilities are designed around teamwork especially at the Kingdom Level and will thus be active for every Kingdom level battlegame that I run throughout my reign excluding the Warmaster Tournament game.
There is one limitation on using these abilities for the GMs, they must have published a class test in the designated Forum in the Black spire Discord server that I will have created titled "Class Tests Winter 2026" once a test is published there they may use thier ability at Kingdom Level games and I will verify with them before the first game of the day that thier test is posted. One final note, if you don't get appointed to the class guildmaster that you apply for don't dismay, there will be class guildmaster elections during December that you can try again at in order to use these abilities and serve the kingdom in an easy and fun way!
