Across rolling fields and hidden groves, warriors, artisans, and storytellers gather to forge their own legends. Whether you come to test your mettle with sword and spell, to craft beauty from imagination, or to weave tales around the fire, there is a place for you within the spires.

What is Amtgard?

Amtgard is a world of live-action roleplay where fantasy meets friendship. Players create unique personas: warriors, mages, rogues, healers, and more! 
In Blackspire, you’ll find:

  • Epic Battles: Foam-padded weapons, tactics, and teamwork on the field.

  • Creative Arts: From garb and armor to bardic performances and crafting competitions.

  • Community Events: Feasts, tournaments, quests, and courts that bring our kingdom to life.

  • Inclusive Fellowship: All are welcome, regardless of age, background, or experience.

Blackspire is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that builds community through medieval fantasy live-action roleplay, foam combat, arts, and immersive events. We promote leadership, mentorship, and skill-building while giving back through partnerships, fundraising for other nonprofits, awareness initiatives, and service projects such as food drives.
