Summary of facts of the appeal (Talieson). 

Greene spoke in favor of his appeal because he’s taking steps to improve. The floor opened to the populace. 

Torg spoke in favor of Greene’s appeal because he knows him well and sees that he’s trying to improve. 

Surefoot spoke in favor of Greene’s appeal.

Faclan spoke in favor of Greene’s appeal. 

Farlanok spoke against Greene’s appeal because he witnessed some of the events and thinks punishment is justified. 

Akaelus spoke in favor of Greene’s appeal because his behavior is improving. 

Belnieros spoke in favor of Greene’s appeal because the punishment is too strict. 

Klar spoke in favor of Greene’s appeal because he thinks the ban should be shorter. 

Tristomir spoke on both sides of Greene’s appeal because he is generally a helpful and supportive person however he has noticed that Greene can be hot headed and frustrated. 

Falcon spoke in favor of Greene’s appeal because he is actively getting better and two months is plenty of time. 

Opikuningham spoke in favor of Greene’s appeal because he cares about the game and needs opportunities to improve. 

Ellie spoke in favor of Greene’s appeal because she hasn’t seen inappropriate aggression from him. 

Ozzward spoke in favor of Greene’s appeal because he thinks that the hotheadedness was misrepresented. 

Eldrin spoke in favor of Greene’s appeal because he accepts feedback and wants to improve. 

Antony spoke in favor of Greene’s appeal because he has already been punished.

 Velicor spoke in favor of Greene’s appeal because he has already improved and will improve better without the ban. 

Talieson clarified points of fact about the suspension, notably that Greene is still permitted to spar and fight off the battlefield.

    1. Marquis currently in an awkward place with the position above it. Altering the requirements.
  2. Appendix B - Adding Closed Ballots to voting procedures
    1. Change to the corpora to have a closed ballot for BOD. How we have been doing it for years. Making the rules match the practice.

    1. So not every conflict has to go up to grievance level.

  5. Silenus would like to request a populace poll to remove Facebook as an official Kingdom managed Social Media outlet. 
    1. **Proposal:** remove Facebook as an official social media platform for Blackspire. 
    2. **Reasoning:** One of the main reasons we moved to a website for an official means of communication for Blackspire was that Facebooks new Terms of Service (ToS) violates Amtgard's Zero Tolerance policy by condoning hate speech and rhetoric, as well as the platform and its operations being a hostile environment, I would like to recommend we remove Facebook as an officially supported Blackspire Social Media. While it could still operate as an unofficial platform for those who so choose to upkeep it, I think we should remove ourselves from it in an official capacity. There are other reasons to encourage this move, such as Opi's comment about AI invasion causing disruptions and difficulty with algorithms showing information, and the like. A voter poll for this has been added to your ballots.
      1. Rion recently offered to be the FB liaison and believes that we should have as much access to communication as possible. 

Silenus will try to find the text of the zero tolerance policy. 

Macsen the website is the only official platform already, so nothing changes if we cut off facebook other than restricting communication. 

Galinmorn FB does require personal accounts including legal names which might make it hard for some people to engage. 

Antony thinks we can post the same thing on two different platforms and it will be fine.

  1. Elections & Appointments upcoming - Summer BOD seats election in June, there are 4 seats open, you must declare for a specific seat by May 23rd, 2026.
