Hi everyone!
So, for the A&S Display Showcase being hosted by Iron Keep, if you are putting something into the showcase, we do need a couple of things so that y’all can enjoy the rest of the day and the festivities without having to be stuck at the tables.
Firstly, make it clear whether or not the item in the showcase is going to be entered into Hydra Trials as well. We want to make sure your entries for both get recognized and don’t get missed because it was over at the showcase table, so please put some kind of note or sign next to the item stating that it is for Hydra Trials, inform myself that it is for Hydra Trials as well so that we can have a list of all the entries with the entry number for Hydra Trials, and inform Keriz when you go to register your entries that the entry is at the Display Showcase. Make sure you have a separate write up for Hydra Trials as what the judges need to know is different from what the populace needs to know about your item.
Secondly, write something saying what the item is and what was used to make it. We don’t need the full process, just the basics of what it is, how you did it, how long it took you to make it, and how long on average it takes you to make similar items. Think of it as a write up without needing to go into full detail.
Finally, write something explaining who you are, how long you’ve been doing this craft or crafting in general, and how long you’ve been in Amtgard! This is your moment to show off and get the recognition you’ve most definitely deserved.
