Hello Lovely Populace! Regent here, exited for another incredible campout this month!
Today, I want to remind us all not only of our semiannual Dragonmaster tournament (2 over 2 categories! Lets see you mix and match your abilities!) But of our inaugural Elder Dragon Competition!
The Elder Dragon will be a peer-voted competition for the best and brightest of Blackspire. All entrants MUST be a master in at least one serpent category, with Hydra winners being provided the option of presenting a hydra spread (each piece will count as its own single item).
Each entrant gets one item to present per serpent mastery they hold. The item DOES need to be from the category that this individual has their mastery in. It will be displayed in the Rec Center Saturday afternoon for a gallery walk, while the populace may marvel upon them and vote for their favorite (Each individual has a maximum of two votes!) The winner, with the most voted item, will recieve the first annual title of Blackspire's Elder Dragon!
This item can come from any point of your journey, before or after your mastery. Further, there will be an OPTIONAL Auction, where an interested creator may choose to set a minimum bid price on their item. Interested buyers may include their name and a dollar-amount bid for the item if it is notated for auction. From here, the highest bidder will win, and half the proceeds will be returned to the creator and half will go to the scribes guild!
