The Circus will be held at every KLE (except OG) and will consist of two tournaments brackets: a traditional bracket and a silly bracket. The formats will be announced before each KLE.
To get us started, the formats for the first Circus in October at Satyr’s Hollow will be Single Short and Single Short + One Heavy Thrown. Both will be run as 10-minute bear pits.
How scoring will work:
I will keep track of everyone’s scores between KLEs. At each Circus, fighters will be ranked based on their combined total kills from the serious and silly tournaments. The top eight fighters at each KLE will earn points toward the overall standings:
- 1st place: 8 points
- 2nd place: 7 points
- 3rd place: 6 points
- 4th place: 5 points
- 5th place: 4 points
- 6th place: 3 points
- 7th place: 2 points
- 8th place: 1 point
The overall winner after the final Circus at the Forest of Fado KLE in February will qualify for their next Order of the Warrior.
The top eight fighters overall will also be invited to a separate invitational tournament at Winterbash. The winner of that tournament will qualify for a separate Order of the Warrior. That means there will be two Orders of the Warrior up for grabs during the reign from Circus related activities.
If there is a tie when determining the top eight for the invitational tournament, the fighter with the longest win streak will take the higher position. If there is still a tie after that, I reserve the right to break it however I see fit.
