Just as a reminder to the populace, starting November 1st, the 1-week entry window for written works will be open for our Month-long Writers Workshop A&S. Documents must be under 10 pages long and no more than 1 entry per subcategory. Multiple entries for different subcategories are encouraged!
You will have until 11:59pm on November 7th to submit your work. Entries received after that time will not be accepted. Judging will begin on November 8th. Please ensure the Google Document permissions for your entry are set to allow “commenting” by judges. Read only entries will not be accepted.
We have a very wide panel of judges from three kingdoms with immense talent, but please be considerate of them when submitting written works. If you need to have discretion warnings, content warnings, etc., please add them. These volunteers will be doing their best to judge based on different types of feedback:
- Grammar/Spelling
- Creative Flow/Ideation (Poetry Specific)
- Story building/Ideation (Story Specific)
- 2nd Set of Eyes
- Impact on Rules Applicability (Smith Entries)
- Quest and Battlegame Creativity Building/Ideation
Please indicate on your entry sheet what kind of feedback you are primarily looking for. During week 3 (November 15th-21st) you will be "given back" your pieces to edit, adapt, and rework.
Final edits must be submitted by November 21st. Judges will perform their final review from November 22nd-28th.
- Pieces with the most progress and incorporation of judges feedback will be taken into account when final judging scores are tallied.
November 30th will be our announcement for winners! There will be custom titles for winners of specific categories so lots to look forward to!
