1. Call to Order

4. Kingdom Officer Reports
The principal recorded officer report was from the KGMR. The membership was advised that new rules had been released and a mandatory playtest was in effect. Marshal class archetypes were directed to the new book and related reference materials, and members were encouraged to use Discord for questions and to give newer players time to adjust to the changes.

5. Old Business
- Proposal: Treasury Spend: Lights & Battery
The proposal was presented as a treasury expenditure of approximately $1,500 to purchase a solar battery and two large lights for Kingdom use. It was explained that the Kingdom had been spending approximately $500 per campout to rent ditch-field lighting, so purchasing the equipment was expected to offset its cost after approximately three campouts. The solar battery was also identified as useful for powering check-in and other needs at Kingdom-level events.

Elections and Appointments
The membership was reminded that the Monarch, Regent, and Champion election ballot would be released August 23, two weeks after the Warmaster tournament, and would close the Wednesday before PacWar. The announcement specified that this ballot would be for the monarchy offices, with other elections following their normal process.

6. Proposals Discussion
The New Business proposals scheduled for a future vote were identified as having been posted through the Kingdom's normal public channels. The proposal receiving substantive discussion was the proposal to add No Confidence and Abstain options to election ballots.
The discussion explained that the proposed No Confidence option would allow voters to indicate that none of the available candidates should be elected rather than merely abstaining. The presenter also discussed how the proposed process would interact with repeated elections and identified the offices to which the proposed language would apply, including Kingdom officers and Board positions. It was clarified that Holdings are encouraged to mirror Kingdom election practices but are not required to do so unless their governing documents provide otherwise.
Members were advised that the proposal would be voted on in September and that comments could be submitted through the website, Discord, or to the KPM.
